TLP demands Sindh government to meet its demands in a week on Karachi incidents

Tehreek Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) announces its demands for the Sindh government on incidents in Karachi on the 13th and 18th of October.

Remember that TLP was holding a Namoos-e-Risalat march in Karachi on Sunday (13th October) when Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) including Police and Sindh Rangers opened fire on the participants. One of the participants (Ghazi Muhammad Majid Aziz Rizvi) was martyred on the spot due to a bullet shot at his head. Two other participants got wounded by bullets. TLP had announced a gathering at Karachi Press Club (KPC) for today to pay tribute to Ghazi Muhammad Majid Rizvi Shaheed. However, LEAs targeted the participants going for the gathering again with baton charges, tear gas shells and opening fire at them. Many were arrested including TLP Karachi Ameer and former member Sindh Assembly Mufti Qasim Fakhri.

In a video message along with Qazi Mehmood Awan and Allama Farooq ul Hassan, Mufti Umar Farooq Qadri announced TLP's demands for the Sindh government regarding the incidents happening on 13th and 18th October. The demands include suspension of LEA's personnel involved in illegal actions against TLP, investigation and accountability of the LEA personnel who opened fire on Muhammad Majid Rizvi Shaheed, and the release of all the TLP workers and leaders who have been arrested during both incidents. "If these demands are not met by 25th October, there will be a Namoos-e-Risalat march where the next and strict action plan will be announced," Mufti Umar Farooq warned the Sindh government in his video message.
