In darkness of pre-dawn of October 13th Monday, heavy contingents of LEAs from Rangers, Punjab Police, Islamabad Police, Dolphin Force and Elite Force viciously used state weaponry against unarmed participants of Al-Aqsa march. Thousands of rounds of bullets and teargas shells were fired through armored vehicles; the worst use of force by a state against it's citizens in modern times. It resulted in hundreds of participants as martyrs in a blink of eye, thousands sustained bullet injuries and a huge number of participants are missing. Government is also not giving information about the leadership of TLP including chief Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi, his brother Hafiz Anas Rizvi and the members of central executive committee. Neither the bodies of martyrs are being handed over to their relatives nor the injured are being provided with first-aid or proper treatment, fearing a further rise in causalities.

Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi addressed an emergency press conference, stating that on October 11, TLP worker Muhammad Talha was martyred due to the failure to provide timely medical aid. On the same day, Baba Sadaqat Ali and Syed Hashmat were martyred by direct gunfire. He also mentioned that several other injured participants were transferred to hospitals, but there has been no information regarding their condition. He expressed concern that even before the start of the march, participants were being martyred, homes were being demolished, and families were being arrested. Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi highlighted that raids were being carried out on schools and seminaries, and those expressing solidarity with Palestine were being arrested.
He further mentioned that nine officials' homes had already been demolished, and their only crime was loving Palestine. He noted that people from non-Muslim communities around the world were also raising their voices for Palestine, and expressed gratitude that people from the Muslim Ummah in Pakistan had joined the movement. Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi emphasized that today, Lahore and Gaza stand united. The youth in both Gaza and Pakistan are being martyred for the cause of Jerusalem.
He clarified that their only fault was speaking up for the oppressed in Gaza. Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi criticized the rulers who support Israel, claiming they were complicit in oppression, but assured that they would not back down. He added that they would endure oppression but would not retract their solidarity with Palestine.
He pointed out the double standards in global discourse, stating that when the United Nations speaks out for Palestine, it is praised, but when they speak, they are subjected to oppression. He criticized the two-state solution, calling it an attempt to silence those who speak up for Palestine permanently.
Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi also mentioned that their deputy Amir was arrested from his home, but they did not react violently. On October 8, an attack was carried out on the Tehreek-e-Labbaik center, and several participants were martyred. He stressed that anyone who is shot at while sitting in their home will inevitably resist. He emphasized that the shells and bullets used against them were made in Pakistan.
He added that the number of injured exceeded 100, and the bodies of martyrs were being taken and disappeared. He clarified that their march was not against anyone, but specifically against Israel, and questioned why a march for Palestine could not be held in Islamabad. He reminded that they had organized the first-ever Palestine march in Islamabad in November and had led a nationwide campaign to boycott Israeli products.
He further mentioned that during the big Eid festival, they had arranged for sacrifices and aid in Gaza, and they had organized gatherings across the country for the souls of martyrs. Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi said that the sacrifices of the followers of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) would distinguish between hypocrites and true Muslims. He asserted that Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan had strengthened the narrative of "Bunyat al-Marsous" worldwide and had always sacrificed for the unity of the Muslim Ummah.
Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi also praised the global solidarity for Palestine and noted that non-Muslim communities, including Christians, had reached out and expressed their support for the protests. He criticized the government, saying that their international trips and gestures towards Israel were clear indicators of their acceptance of Israel. He added that while the people of Gaza were being shot at with "Made in Israel" bullets, they were being shot with "Made in Pakistan" bullets.
In conclusion, Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi paid tribute to everyone who expressed solidarity with Palestine, including all communities, and expressed his gratitude to them for joining the protests.
