"We won't compromise on the cause of Finality of the Prophethood, you will have to take the decision back": Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi

In his address to the independence rally under the banner of 'Finality of the Prophethood', Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi severely criticized the government for not taking any action against the controversial decision of the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) in the Mubarak Sani case. He condemned the Punjab government for its raids against the leadership of TLP. He said that the controversial decision of SCP has hurt the general public very hard and it's getting difficult for TLP leadership to control the sentiments of the workers.

"You will have to take this decision back and you will have to terminate him (justice faiz essa)," TLP's Ameer warned the government. He said they (TLP leaders and workers) can tolerate everything except anything against the Finality of the Prophethood or the honour of the Last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad SAW. Other leaders including Allama Ghulam Ghous Baghdadi and Hafiz Anas Rizvi also addressed the participants.

Earlier, very charged hundreds of thousands of people started their rally from the Data Darbar and reached outside the Punjab Assembly. The rally was organised in the wake of TLP's annual Independence Day activity but this year the rally was held under the banner of 'Safeguarding the Finality of the Prophethood. The theme was chosen in the backdrop of a recent yet very controversial decision of SCP in the Mubarak Sani case where the court allowed Qadyanis to preach for their religion. Though the Punjab government arrested several local leaders of the TLP from different areas and many workers days before the rally, hundreds of thousands of participants reached the Jamia Masjid Rehmatulila'lameen on Tuesday.
