"TLP to make an announcement for which 'it is known' if govt. doesn't reduce petroleum prices": Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi
In a press conference after Friday prayer, Ameer TLP Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi warned government of 'an announcement for which TLP is known' if it doesn't retract recent hike in the petroleum prices within next 72 hours. Remember that Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi announced for a strong reaction if government would increase in petroleum price any further. In a revision of petroleum price on 15th February, government announced a hike of more than 20 rupees per liter in petroleum prices.
Tehreek Labbaik Pakistan appealed people from all fields of life to join it in its action against inflation. "Rather than cut in their (government bearers) own luxuries, they are putting burden on poor public," said Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi in the press conference. Peer Syed Zaheer ul Hassan Shah, Allama Ghulam Abbas Faizi and Allama Farooq ul Hassan was also among those present in the press conference.
