Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi inaugurated another encampment for flood victims in Tehsil Rojhan in district Rajanpur. All the families were provided with ration packs for around fifteen days with cots, LPG cylinders, juices and other eatables. A medical camp is also set up for general check-ups and a separate one with gynaecologists for women. According to reports, the total count of camps set-up by TLP for flood victims has crossed one thousand now.
Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi, Ameer TLP, visited the flood hit southern Punjab once again on Saturday and inaugurated the temporary camps settlements for flood victims in Taunsa Sharif, Dera Ghazi Khan. TLP has set up a settlement for 150 households providing them basic facilities, water, food and medical camp. Moreover, Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi visited the affected slums in Taunsa Sharif, discussed the problems with local people and directed local TLP leadership to provide them drinkable water and other necessary basic facilities.
Before departing for Taunsa Sharif, Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi asserted that political activities should be stopped now to help the flood victims. He revealed that TLP has cancelled its Multan conference (announced to held on 8th September earlier) and all other programmes to donate the money for its flood relief operations.
On the other hand, flood is now hitting Sindh very badly and TLP Sindh chapter is helping the people in affected and inundated areas of Sindh. TLP Karachi West Chapter dispatched two containers of relief packs to the Umer Kot on Saturday.
We are getting several reports where TLP's caravans are being looted by goons of other political parties while on their way to affected areas. Several TLP workers were tortured and severely injured according to the reports.
