Central Executive Committee (CEC) of Tehreek Labbaik Pakistan has announced an ultimatum for government in case detained TLP chief is not released.
"If Hafiz Saad Rizvi not get released, we'll wait for a few more days," Molana Sarwar Saifi announced on behalf of CEC while addressing closing ceremony of rally marking independence day of Pakistan.
Tehreek Labbaik Pakistan, declared proscribed religiopolitical party by govt. of Pakistan and with the whole imprisoned leadership, earlier announced rallies across the country marking independence day. At the moment, we have received reports of rallies from numerous small and big cities across the country but the most mesmerizing glimpses are from Lahore and Karachi which observed these rallies turning into million march.
In Lahore, the rally was supposed to start from Shrine of Hazrat Data Ali Hajvery at 3 PM in the noon. Massive crowd of people was gather on the spot at the announced time. The rally was to leave in leadership of TLP's leader Qazi Mehmood Awan and Hafiz Anas Rizvi who were to arrive there from Jamia Masjid Rehmatulilalameen. On these reports, a huge number of people reached Multan Road centre too and it converted into a massive rally. So, it took so long for leadership to reach starting point. When the leadership reached at Shrine of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh Ali Hajvery with a rally which merged with hundreds of thousands of people already waiting there and turned into a million march. The march set off for destination in the evening and have reached to the destination till this writing.
On the other hand, hundreds of thousands people joined Karachi march in leadership of Mufti Qasim Fakhri, TLP's MPA in Sindh assembly. In a press release, Mufti Qasim Fakhri summarized leadership addresses demanding prompt release of Hafiz Saad Rizvi. The massive rallies showed the true picture of TLP's street power and leadership emphasized that government shouldn't test TLP's patience level.
